Jobot seeks a Lead Financial Analyst - FP&A and IT Finance for a hybrid role. This role supports budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting for a major U.S. energy utility and partners with IT and corporate finance to drive strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years FP&A experience, advanced Excel, and PowerBI, plus strong communication skills. The position offers a competitive salary, a generous bonus, and growth opportunities with onsite 2 days/week in Providence, RI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years FP&A experience, ideally in lead role.
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong experience in variance analysis and KPI development.
• PowerBI or similar BI tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Excellent communication skills to present financial information to non-financial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to leadership.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for strategic initiatives and potential M&A.
• Drive design and delivery of financial KPIs for senior management.
• Leverage Excel and PowerBI to analyze data and present findings clearly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into financial plans.
• continually improve FP&A processes and systems to boost efficiency.
