Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst for its Arlington, VA office. The role focuses on financial analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis within the Commercial Real Estate sector. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to drive revenue insights and profitability.

The position requires extensive FP&A experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication to present findings to leadership. In-office work schedule is Monday–Friday in Arlington.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• 8+ years of FP&A, finance, analytics, and/or sales operations; or 6+ years with MBA or related master’s.
• Experience forecasting revenue and financial performance with data insights.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling skills.
• Experience using financial and budgeting applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance and non-finance teams to develop budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze revenue drivers including SaaS metrics and sales performance; support reporting.
• Maintain customer analysis including penetration and TAM sizing.
• Track expenses, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling.
• Support Marketing with campaign analysis and cost optimization.
• Create PowerPoint presentations for quarterly business reviews.
