Job summary

CoStar Group in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join the Business Unit Finance Team. The role focuses on financial analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis to support commercial real estate and SaaS revenue.

You will model revenue and expenses, develop management reporting, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product to provide actionable insights that drive growth. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 1+ years FP&A, strong Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 1+ years of FP&A, finance, analytics, and/or sales operations; MBA may be considered
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling skills
• Experience using financial and budgeting applications

Responsibilities

• Work with Finance and non-financial teams to develop budgets and forecasts.
• Focus on revenue drivers including SaaS metrics and drivers; partner with Sales and Leadership to support reporting.
• Maintain customer analysis including penetration and market sizing.
• Lead expense tracking, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling.
• Collaborate with Marketing to analyze advertising campaign effectiveness and spend.
• Design and create PowerPoint presentations for quarterly reviews and strategic decisions.
• Evaluate and model M&A targets as needed.
