Coda Search Staffing is seeking a Senior Finance Associate, FP&A in New York City to drive forecasting, planning, and performance analysis across its funds and corporate entities. This role translates financial results into decision-ready insights and helps build scalable reporting infrastructure for a growing platform.

The candidate will own the budgeting/forecasting cycle, analyze variances, and prepare reporting packages for management and investors, while advancing automation and controls

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in public accounting, FP&A, or private equity fund finance.
• Background in corporate finance, FP&A, or real estate private equity roles.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, KPIs, and private equity fund structures.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in data visualization and modern finance tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the budgeting and forecasting cycle, folding in actuals and updating assumptions as conditions change.
• Break down the difference between forecast and actual results, and translate what you find for the people who need to act on it.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statement and investor capital reporting packages.
• Analyze investment performance and prepare results presentations for senior management.
• Deliver financial KPIs on an ongoing basis to management, investors, lenders, and regulators.
• Support fund administration and coordinate with external administrators and advisors.
• Track compliance with fund agreements and loan covenants, including related reporting.
• Partner across departments to lead monthly and quarterly close and identify process improvements.
• Coordinate tax and regulatory filings for accurate and timely completion.
• Apply technology and automation to improve efficiency, controls, and reporting accuracy.
