Job summary

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering, is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Global Field group finance team. This role partners with Account General Managers in North America and Europe to provide finance support and drive operating rhythm.

You will lead budgeting cycles, perform variances, and manage cost allocations while working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize cash flow and days sales outstanding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A or accounting roles.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Proven financial planning, analysis and business partnering experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AGMs to provide finance support and drive operating rhythm.
• Lead budgeting cycles, quarterly reviews, and scenario analysis.
• Manage cost allocation across business units and quarterly forecasts.
• Improve days sales outstanding and cash flow.
• Support ad-hoc analyses and process improvements.
