Job summary

Delta Dental of Massachusetts is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead enterprise-wide FP&A for our insurance operations. This executive role ties strategic financial planning to accounting and operations, serving as a principal advisor to business unit leaders and the C-suite.

You will build advanced models, drive budgeting, forecasting, and capital strategy, and mentor a finance team, delivering insights that improve margins and growth across product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or quantitative field.
• MBA or Master’s in Finance or Business Administration is highly desirable.
• CPA, CFA, CPCU or related insurance designations are assets.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year plans.
• Develop driver-based forecasting models using insurance metrics.
• Present strategic financial plans to executive leadership.
• Lead FP&A systems, automating data ingestion and reporting.
