Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, part of the Knorr-Bremse Group, seeks a Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis in Avon, OH. You will lead forecasting, budgeting, and five-year planning, driving cash strategies and cost reductions while coordinating with HQ and plant finance teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive understanding of financial concepts including financial statement analysis, accounting, budgeting, profitability analysis, and standard costing.
• Solid understanding of drivers of the business (industry volume patterns, customer products, customer/market mix).
• Experience leading FP&A in manufacturing; IFRS and FX analysis knowledge preferred.
• 15+ years of direct and progressive financial analysis experience; 10+ years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive and monitor financial performance and analyze operating results; investigate variances.
• Lead monthly forecast, annual budgeting, and five-year strategic plan.
• Oversee cash forecasting and related budget activities for cash performance.
• Consolidate cost reduction activities and drive related decisions.
• Facilitate collaboration between finance, business units, and plants for alignment.
• Lead process optimization to improve efficiency of FP&A operations.
• Provide timely financial insights and summaries for management reviews.
• Oversee month-end closing and guide Accounting to finalize results.
• Report results to Operations and Functional leadership with actionable recommendations.
• Lead financial review of plant operations and drive profitability improvements.
