Job summary

Competitive Power Ventures, Inc. seeks a Senior Associate to join its Corporate Finance team. You will consolidate CPV Group financials, develop forecasts, and prepare materials for senior leadership and the CPV Group Board.

The role supports OPC Energy reporting and requires collaboration across accounting, treasury, risk, and operations. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in corporate finance and strong modeling skills, with advanced Excel/PowerPoint and a detail-oriented, cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, engineering or related field.
• Three or more years of relevant experience in corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, investment banking, private equity, corporate development or project finance.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, including understanding of financial statements, valuation and corporate finance concepts.
• Interest in power and energy industry; prior energy-sector experience is preferred but not required.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with demonstrated ability to produce accurate analyses.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual financial results across the CPV Group and prepare clear analyses of actual performance relative to budget and forecast.
• Support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and the five-year capital planning processes.
• Develop and maintain key financial and operating metrics, dashboards and management reporting to identify performance trends, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare high-quality presentations and analyses for senior leadership and the CPV Group Board of Directors.
• Support the preparation and review of financial, operating and growth pipeline materials provided to OPC Energy for quarterly and annual reporting.
• Improve reporting, consolidation and forecasting processes, tools and models to increase efficiency, strengthen controls and enhance insights.
• Prepare and analyze short- and long-term collateral forecasts in coordination with treasury, risk and operating teams.
