Job summary

Alliance Health System, headquartered in Matawan, NJ, seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Controller, you will partner with operational leadership and help drive strategic and operational decisions with robust financial analysis and modeling.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of FP&A experience, advanced Excel skills, and a proven ability to communicate insights to senior leaders. Healthcare experience is preferred and will be an asset in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Approximately 4–7 years of FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or related experience.
• Strong financial modeling skills with forecasts, budgets, scenarios, and investment analyses.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare and consolidate annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Own financial performance reporting for units and departments, including revenue, labor, expenses, and EBITDA.
• Analyze variances vs. budget and forecast; identify drivers and opportunities; propose actionable recommendations.
• Lead monthly financial review meetings with leaders; communicate results and drive accountability.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for new locations, service lines, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Perform ROI, break-even, and profitability analyses to support capital allocation decisions.
• Develop KPIs and monitor performance; set targets with business leaders.
