Job summary

The University of Chicago is seeking a Senior Manager for the BSD FIN - Financial Planning & Analysis to stabilize and optimize financial processes after a new ERP implementation. You will lead modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis across BSD/UCM funds, partnering with leadership to minimize risk and drive efficiency.

This role requires strong financial acumen, experience in healthcare or not-for-profit settings, and the ability to lead data-driven improvements while building training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
• CPA or audit-related certification strongly preferred.
• Healthcare, university, or not-for-profit sector experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial input via data collection, metrics, and analytics applications.
• Develop models, forecasts, and reports to support BSD/UCM decisions.
• Collaborate with BSD/UCM leadership and stakeholders to improve financial workflows.
