Job summary

Sentry is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team in Stevens Point, WI. This hybrid role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting to support strategic decisions.

You will partner with stakeholders, prepare complex financial reports, and drive improvements in processes and controls. CPA progress is encouraged and a strong technical and analytical background is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Financial Services or related field.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA is highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Review financial information, statements, and reports for accuracy and thoroughness and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Prepare complex financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, depreciation, etc.) for decision making.
• Coordinate budgets and forecasts using data trends and analyses.
• Advise management on opportunities to improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with business partners to support strategic initiatives and goals.
• Provide ad-hoc analyses and reporting to support business decisions.
• Monitor financial activity and ensure compliance with internal controls.
