Job summary

Shoe Station Group, Inc. in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A to drive store-level analytics, budgeting and forecasting, and financial modeling. You’ll partner with operations to translate financial data into actionable business insights and support earnings materials for leadership.

The role requires 5+ years FP&A experience, advanced Excel, and proficiency with Power BI/Tableau. This is a full‑time, on-site position based at our Fort Mill headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years FP&A, financial analysis, or related experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; auditable models.
• Retail industry experience preferred; understanding of store economics and KPIs.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy).
• Strong communication skills; able to present findings to finance and non‑finance teams.
• Public company experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain store-level P&L analysis across banners, regions and locations.
• Analyze sales and expense trends and identify performance drivers.
• Build/update financial models for tactical and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare management reporting packages, monthly forecasts, KPI dashboards, and leadership materials.
• Assist with annual budget preparation with functional leaders.
• Analyze variances to budget/forecast and provide actionable insights.
• Partner with store ops, merchandising and real estate on strategic initiatives and business cases.
• Support earnings materials, investor presentations, and ad hoc requests from exec leadership.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and automate recurring analyses.
