Job summary

Shoe Station, Inc. in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A to drive store-level analytics, comparable sales analysis, and financial modeling.

The role partners closely with operations to translate financial data into actionable business insights, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to executive presentations and M&A diligence. This position reports to the Director, FP&A at our Fort Mill headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or related experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Retail industry experience strongly preferred; knowledge of store economics and KPIs.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or MicroStrategy.
• Strong communication skills; ability to present findings to finance and non-finance audiences.
• Public company experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain store-level P&L analysis across banners, regions, and locations.
• Analyze sales and expense trends and identify performance drivers.
• Build/update financial models for tactical and strategic initiatives.
• Support M&A due diligence with financial analysis and synergy modeling.
• Prepare management reporting, monthly forecasts, KPI dashboards, and leadership presentations.
• Assist with annual budgets in partnership with functional leaders.
• Explain variances to budget and forecast with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with store operations, merchandising, and real estate on strategic cases.
• Support earnings materials and investor communications; handle ad hoc requests.
• Improve reporting processes and automate recurring analyses.
