Job summary

ITHAKA in the United States seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to act as a strategic finance partner for cost support and analysis across JSTOR, Portico, and Ithaka S+R. This high-impact role combines forecasting, long-range planning, and systems optimization in a SaaS and hybrid revenue environment.

You will design financial narratives, strengthen planning infrastructure, and ensure Workday Adaptive Planning and Acumatica deliver reliable insights for executives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FP&A or strategic finance experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning (model building, reporting, allocations).
• Strong knowledge of Acumatica ERP and financial data structures.
• Experience in SaaS or hybrid subscription and services business models.
• Advanced Google Suite, Microsoft 365, and BI capabilities (Power BI/Tableau).
• Proven advanced financial modeling and scenario planning skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear executive-ready narratives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to senior product and functional leaders.
• Maintain cost allocation model and analyze cost impacts across units; translate into actionable insights.
• Lead forecasts, monthly/quarterly materials, and scenario planning for multiple entities.
• Design and maintain allocation drivers; ensure variance explanations to business leaders.
• Ensure forecast integrity and alignment with accounting standards.
• Elevate reporting from static outputs to decision-support tools.
