UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its accounting and finance team, guiding performance through analyses, budgeting and forecasting. You will work with leaders across the business to communicate results and support strategy in a Fortune 5 healthcare leader.

Remote work is available from anywhere in the U.S., with a Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. office requirement of four days per week for certain locations; Minnetonka, MN is the preferred base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, corporate finance, or related financial role.
• Experience working collaboratively across a matrix environment to drive business performance.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and the MS Office product suite.
• Experience in the Healthcare industry.
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Snowflake and PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities

• Develop, perform and manage the analyses of business and financial metrics as well as performance measures
• Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budget
• Develop, perform and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Interface with business leaders and build relationships in support of financial planning and performance measurement including reporting and analysis
• Work closely with the business to develop, recommend and establish strategies, plans, and processes to improve profitability and cost efficiencies
