Aston Carter is seeking a Financial Analyst for an onsite role in Berwick, PA. The position is contract-to-hire and involves planning, forecasting, and reporting for O&M and Capital budgets using SAP, Workday, Oracle, and other ERP systems.

You will build annual budgets, forecast major projects, and deliver clear reports to leadership. The role requires strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), 2+ years in GL or FP&A, and a finance-focused bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• This role supports planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for O&M and Capital budgets.
• Develop annual department budgets and major project forecasts with accuracy.
• Review financial data, identify trends and risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare monthly forecasts and adjust projections for current conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting of O&M and Capital budgets.
• Develop annual department budgets and major project forecasts in line with goals.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Prepare monthly financial forecasts and update projections for current conditions.
• Investigate, reconcile, and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
• Record, classify, and summarize transactions per accounting policies.
• Prepare reports for corporate and station leadership to support decision-making.
• Develop reports explaining variances and key drivers of performance.
• Perform month-end close activities and general ledger support as needed.
• Conduct FP&A forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Utilize ERP systems and Excel tools to manage and analyze data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reporting accuracy.
