Job summary

Det-Tronics, Bloomington, MN, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our FP&A team. This on-site role partners with Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain to drive financial performance, forecast accurately, and deliver actionable insights.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in finance or related field, 3+ years of FP&A experience, and strong skills in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (JD Edwards). Experience with OneStream and SQL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems; JD Edwards preferred.
• Experience with Power BI or other BI platforms.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly forecasting, annual operating plan, and long-range planning processes with cross-functional leaders.
• Analyze financial performance and variances across revenue, gross margin, expenses, inventory and working capital.
• Develop financial analyses and business cases for profitability, investments, and pricing.
• Prepare and deliver executive presentations on performance, trends, risks, and recommendations.
• Facilitate capital expenditure planning and provide ongoing reporting and analysis of projects.
