Job summary

MeatEater, Inc. seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst to bolster our Media business with rigorous financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling. The role partners with cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable insights and supports strategic decision making.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in corporate finance or FP&A, strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, and experience with Power BI or NetSuite. Remote-friendly with periodic travel to support initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or related areas.
Experience supporting Sales/Media in omni-channel environments.
Knowledge of revenue recognition and contract-based revenue models.
Advanced Excel and BI tooling with data visualization experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
Own monthly and quarterly forecasting and budget variance analysis.
Build and maintain recurring management reports and dashboards.
Provide insights to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
Collaborate with Sales and Media Production to inform decisions with financial insights.
Develop financial models and decision-support analyses for strategic initiatives.
Monitor KPIs and track company performance.
Assist with ad hoc financial analyses as needed.
