Job summary

Welspun Tubular LLC, a leading steel pipe manufacturer in Little Rock, seeks a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to partner with the CFO and operations. This role drives budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and board-ready reporting in a manufacturing environment.

Experts in SAP FI/CO and advanced Excel/Power BI will shape cost insights, optimize margins, and support audits while collaborating with supply chain and finance teams across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus).
• 5–6 years of progressive financial analysis experience in manufacturing.
• Expertise in cost accounting and standard costing methodologies.
• SAP (FI/CO modules) or equivalent ERP system proficiency.
• Advanced Excel skills and Power BI/Tableau experience preferred.
• Experience in steel/metals or industrial manufacturing sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles monthly, quarterly, and yearly across all units.
• Develop and maintain rolling financial models to project revenue, cost, and cash flow.
• Conduct variance analysis and present findings to senior leadership.
• Prepare executive-level financial presentations and board reporting packages.
• Manage standard costing system, BOM reviews, and overhead rate analysis.
• Support month-end close activities including inventory valuation and COGS reconciliation.
• Leverage SAP and reporting tools to extract and analyze financial data.
• Partner with operations to drive cost reduction and margin improvement.
