Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or plant finance.
• In-depth costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standard costs, BOMs, cost rollups, and overhead allocations.
• Analyze labor, material, price, and overhead variances.
• Support inventory valuation, WIP analysis, and COG reconciliation.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance analysis.
• Build financial models for costs, margins, cash flow, and results.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations for plant leadership.
• Evaluate capex, projected returns, and operations investments.
• Monitor KPIs and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and performance presentations.
• Improve reporting processes, automation, and data integrity.

We are recruiting a Senior Plant Financial Analyst for a leading industrial manufacturer in Little Rock. This highly visible position combines cost accounting, financial planning, and plant operations support.

You will partner with senior leadership, operations, supply chain, and procurement teams to strengthen cost controls, improve inventory accuracy, and identify opportunities to increase manufacturing efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standard costs, including bills of material, cost rollups, and overhead allocations
• Analyze labor, material usage, purchase price, and overhead variances
• Support inventory valuation, work-in-process analysis, controls, and cost-of-goods reconciliation
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance analysis
• Build financial models covering costs, margins, cash flow, and operating results
• Translate financial data into practical recommendations for plant leadership
• Evaluate capital expenditures, projected returns, and operational investments
• Monitor manufacturing KPIs and identify cost-reduction opportunities
• Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and business performance presentations
• Improve reporting processes, automation, and financial data integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least five years of experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or plant finance
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing variances
• Experience partnering directly with plant and operations leadership
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP is strongly preferred
• Ability to clearly communicate financial findings to operational and executive audiences

Experience with heavy manufacturing, multi-site operations, SAP FI/CO, Power BI, or Tableau is preferred. CPA, CMA, or MBA credentials are also valued.
