Job summary

LIGHTERA, a global leader in optical fibers, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Norcross, GA. This hybrid role supports decision-making, profitability, and regulatory compliance through FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for multiple manufacturing locations.

The position is hybrid in Norcross, GA, with required in-office days and flexible scheduling as needed. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting, 5+ years FP&A experience in manufacturing, SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 5+ years’ experience in FP&A in a global, manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting U.S. and foreign countries manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of budget and forecast modeling.
• Accounting systems knowledge, preferably SAP.
• Preferred fluency in Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cost analysis for manufacturing processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze monthly results and variances to forecasts and budgets; prepare detailed reports.
• Assist in budgeting and periodic forecast preparation.
• Prepare business cases (CAPEX) and ad-hoc reports.
• Collaborate with multiple departments.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
• Minimal travel required.
