Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, operational finance, and business partnering within a growing manufacturing organization. You will collaborate with site leadership to deliver actionable financial insights and drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate has strong GAAP knowledge, 2+ years in accounting/FP&A, and advanced Excel skills to analyze performance and support strategic decisions across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of accounting, finance, FP&A, audit, or related experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with both finance and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leadership and finance teams to support growth initiatives and strategic objectives.
• Perform financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support decision-making.
• Analyze business performance, identify trends, and provide profitability and operational improvement recommendations.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and financial metrics.
• Prepare presentations and financial reports for leadership teams.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Prepare journal entries, account analyses, and financial reporting packages.
• Assist with variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and adoption of new accounting guidance when required.
• Support process improvements and cross-functional projects.
