Job summary

Prime Matter Labs is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to help build the FP&A function and partner with leadership to drive profitability. You will support monthly closes, forecasting, and strategic analytics in a growth-focused manufacturing environment.

The role requires 2–5 years in FP&A or related finance, strong Excel and ERP skills, and a Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting/Economics. Hybrid work from NYC area with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years FP&A, corporate finance, or consulting experience.
• Experience with monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting.
• ERP experience in SAP, Oracle, Sage or similar.
• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics; MBA/CPA/CFA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly FP&A close, P&L, balance sheet, and variance commentary.
• Build Excel-based models to drive forecast accuracy and decisions.
• Develop KPI metrics for actionable insight and margin improvement.
• Partner with operations to analyze costs and drive margin improvement.
• Support ERP implementation and post go-live finance operations.
• Analyze manufacturing performance, inventory, and capex/business cases.
• Use AI to identify automation and process optimization opportunities.
• Lead financial analysis on pricing, new product launches, and M&A diligence.
