Job summary

NAC Architecture in Seattle, WA seeks a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to join our Finance team and partner with the CFO. This hands-on role requires building forecasts, financial models and management reporting to drive strategic decisions for a professional-services business.

You will analyze revenue, backlog, staffing, utilization and project profitability, develop scenarios, and deliver dashboards and presentations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• 5+ years FP&A or financial analysis experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling.
• Ability to independently build and maintain financial models.
• Strong financial statement, KPI and variance-analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience preparing management-level financial reporting and presenting findings to business leaders.
• Ability to move beyond reporting results to identify why performance changed and actions needed.
• Strong communication, business judgment, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead components of annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning.
• Own and enhance financial models covering revenue, labor, expenses, profitability and cash flow.
• Analyze actual vs. budget/forecast and identify drivers and actions.
• Prepare management-ready reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Evaluate backlog, staffing, utilization, labor, project profitability and overhead.
• Develop scenario analyses to support staffing and strategic decisions.
• Assess capital expenditures and investments and other strategic initiatives.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities to improve profitability.
• Translate complex data into clear business insights with leadership.
• Proactively identify issues and improve FP&A processes.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects for CFO.
