Job summary

Abbott's Electrophysiology Division in Plymouth, Minnesota is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team. You will support month-end close, forecast processes, and maintain financial models.

The role requires a Bachelor's in finance, 4+ years FP&A, strong Excel/PowerPoint, and experience with Hyperion Essbase; preferred SAP, Business Objects, and PowerBI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 4+ years of full-time FP&A experience.
• Autonomy and proactive work style with minimal supervision.
• Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities; US GAAP/SOX knowledge and Hyperion Essbase experience.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close including accrual requests, journal entries, headcount reviews, variance analysis, and monthly reporting.
• Lead quarterly forecast processes with business partners, consolidate inputs, and communicate results to leadership.
• Coordinate audit requests and ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and Abbott policies.
• Develop efficient financial processes and build robust Excel-based financial models.
• Support ad hoc finance requests from business partners.
