Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst specialized in Anaplan to partner with finance and business stakeholders on modeling, planning, and reporting. You will ensure data accuracy, build scalable Anaplan solutions, and drive insights for executive planning and forecasting discussions.

You will own and steward Anaplan models, support monthly cycles, and contribute to future-state planning initiatives, with exposure to leadership experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on Anaplan experience building or maintaining models.
• 4+ years of experience in finance reporting and systems administration.
• Experience collaborating with multiple business units, especially finance.
• Proficiency in Anaplan planning, modeling, configuration and user support.
• Ability to develop data flows and reconcile data across systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners to define planning requirements in Anaplan.
• Translate requirements into functional specs and build Anaplan models.
• Configure lists, modules, dashboards, and actions for scalability.
• Lead or participate in user acceptance testing and deployments.
• Create model documentation and data flow diagrams.
• Manage data flows and ensure data integration across systems.
• Support monthly planning cycles, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs for finance leadership.
• Partner with finance and other units to align planning needs.
• Offer recommendations for enhancements and future-state planning.
• Engage executive-level discussions with data-driven insights.
• Own the Anaplan platform from a functional perspective.
