Job summary

Mozilla Foundation is seeking a seasoned FP&A professional to drive core services forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning for our US operations. The role partners with accounting, analyzes cloud spend, and develops AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency.

You will lead annual and quarterly cycles, maintain headcount planning, and deliver data-driven reports to the COO and budget owners. A strong background in finance, advanced modeling, and experience with Pigment/Workday is

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field.
• Advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with enterprise planning tools (e.g., Pigment, Adaptive, Workday) and accounting systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Strong grounding in accounting fundamentals, including accruals and monthly close.
• Ability to interpret cloud cost or FinOps reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Core Services forecast each cycle using Pigment.
• Assemble monthly budget updates and variance reports for budget owners and the COO.
• Partner with Accounting through monthly close to resolve coding and timing issues.
• Maintain position-level headcount tracking and plan bridges.
• Track vendor and cloud spend, monitoring POs and run-rate changes.
• Apply AI and automation to reduce manual effort in recurring finance work.
• Support Core Services teams with data and reporting requests.
