Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Finance Analyst to manage month-end accountable reporting and support FP&A with KPI reporting and data analysis. You will liaise with Treasury and HR and drive improvements in reporting processes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in Oracle EPM and PowerBI, and the ability to work across large data environments in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with accounting systems is desired, with emphasis on Oracle EPM.
• Curiosity to explore new data tools across environments.

Responsibilities

• Take lead in the month end accountable reporting process.
• Provide technical expertise and support business processes using analysis techniques.
• Lead continuous improvement for monthly reporting with data analysis tools.
• Work with large data sets to provide analysis and management reporting.
• Assist in managing the allocation methodology in month end reporting.
• Assist in developing process efficiency measures using Copilot and AI resources.
• Survey operations to identify accounting needs and develop solutions.
