Job summary

Brunswick's Mercury Marine division is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for Plant 17 in Fond du Lac, WI. You will own a family of castings from melt to finished part, collaborating with operators, tooling, quality, and project teams to improve processes and support new program launches.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related engineering field, 7+ years of experience, and hands-on shop-floor expertise in die casting and metal finishing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience.
• Working knowledge of high-pressure die casting, lost foam, and metal finishing operations.
• Team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced foundry environment.
• Hands-on shop-floor engagement in a foundry environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical engineering support across the metal casting process, from melt to finishing and downstream operations.
• Develop technical ownership as the SME for a defined family of castings.
• Analyze equipment/process data and drive improvements.
• Read and interpret casting/machining prints, tolerances, and CMM reports.
• Support PPAP documentation and customer requirements.
