Job summary

Blue Signal Search is seeking a Sr QA Engineer (Founding QA Opportunity) for our AI SaaS platform, with on-site work in Reston, VA. You will shape the quality function, partner with founders and product leaders, and build a modern QA practice in a fast‑moving SaaS environment.

You will establish testing vision, improve release confidence, expand automation, and raise the bar for product quality across complex web apps, APIs, and AI‑driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience building QA programs for SaaS platforms.
• Proven track record validating web apps, APIs, and integrations.
• Hands-on automation experience with modern QA tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the first formal QA program for the platform.
• Own end-to-end validation across UI, APIs, and AI-enabled flows.
• Develop test plans, release checklists, and regression coverage.
• Improve automated test coverage for critical user journeys.
• Produce clear bug reports and validate fixes thoroughly.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership to embed quality.
