Job summary

Engg is building a consumer membership platform and data infrastructure in the AI x ecommerce space. You will own the entire engineering function, shaping technical direction from product and frontend to backend and data, delivering the MVP and beyond.

You will lead the membership MVP launch on a partner platform, drive iterations, and improve performance, privacy tooling, and architecture across web and mobile surfaces.

• Lead the development of a consumer mobile app, prioritizing iOS, from the ground up.
• Build AI powered agents and internal tools with monitoring, evaluation, and human in the loop safeguards.
• Create automation, internal tooling, and workflows to reduce manual work across functions.
• Collaborate with leadership to address high priority problems and balance product and infrastructure trade offs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong CS fundamentals with a track record shipping consumer software in production.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and either Python or Node.js.
• Hands on experience with ecommerce platforms and native mobile app development, ideally iOS first.
• Experience shipping web apps with performance optimization and working knowledge of privacy compliance tooling.
• Ability to make architectural and security decisions with minimal guidance.
• Experience building and deploying AI powered tools or agents a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary range provided: 130000-200000 USD annually.
