Job summary

Twenty Technologies is seeking a versatile software engineer to serve as the on-site engineering presence for our mission-critical platform in a restricted, air-gapped environment.

You will integrate features, data sources, and AI-backed capabilities while maintaining production-grade reliability and security in collaboration with Arlington teams. The role prioritizes broad system knowledge over deep specialization and requires on-site work in Northern Virginia with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Strong generalist programming ability in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience shipping backend services or full-stack features end to end.
• Operational fluency in Linux, containers, and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and extend customer-specific features and integrations for a restricted environment.
• Work with customer users and staff to understand needs and scope deliveries.
• Write testable, debuggable, production-grade code suitable for air-gapped deployments.
• Ensure security practices: no hardcoded secrets, credential management, audit-ready processes.
• Diagnose production issues with root-cause analysis and runbooks.
