Job summary

Productboard, Inc. is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (or Senior Sales Engineer) to join our Go-To-Market team in San Francisco. You will be the most technical presence in complex deals, responsible for customer success from discovery through deployment and value realization.

You will drive technical discovery, architect solutions, run PoCs, and connect customer needs to product strategy. This role engages executives and shapes our AI-first product offerings for PMs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering role at a B2B SaaS company.
• Hands-on experience configuring, integrating, and prototyping live solutions in front of customers.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and webhooks; comfortable diving into technical details during evaluations.
• Proven ability to drive complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles with technical buyers and C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead deep technical discovery and align core platform capabilities to customer objectives during complex deals.
• Architect solutions, run PoCs in live environments, and validate API/architecture fit.
• Represent Productboard technically at events and drive field insights to shape roadmaps and product strategy.
