Job summary

Nebius is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer, Cloud Platform in the United States. This senior, high-autonomy role embeds with strategic customers and ISV partners to ship production infrastructure for real physical AI workloads, not just demos.

You’ll own end-to-end execution from discovery to production rollout. You will work with the Field CTO and join the Physical AI team, building scalable cloud infrastructure, platform services, and onboarding pipelines while ensuring security, cost

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on engineering in backend/cloud infra or SRE, with customer-facing experience.
• Experience building distributed systems, compute platforms, or ML infrastructure.
• Strong Python, Go, or similar systems programming skills.
• Fluency with AI-native development workflows and tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor).
• Cloud-native toolchain knowledge: Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, observability, storage, IAM/RBAC, IaC.
• Familiarity with GPU workloads, batch jobs, or HPC-style compute.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership inside strategic accounts: discovery, scoping, design, build, rollout.
• Build and operate cloud infrastructure powering customer AI workflows and orchestration at scale.
• Create platform services for job execution, scheduling, retries, observability, logging, secrets, access control, cost tracking.
• Onboard pilots with sandbox environments, datasets, workflow execution, and real workloads.
• Optimize cost, utilization, performance, and reliability across workloads.
• Collaborate with Field CTO, Product, and Eng to codify patterns into the core platform.
