Job Title: Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Delta)

Location: Brentwood, TN / Remote

Manager Note: Palantir Foundry developer - I need someone who understands the Palantir Foundry platform very well. Who can analyze the requirement and come with solution.

Notes:

• Strong hands-on Palantir Foundry experience — 2+ years, with real development experience.
• Someone who can own the full SDLC, from data ingestion and transformations through Ontology, application development, testing, and deployment.
• Experience working with multiple data sources, connectivity, data integration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong in Python/PySpark and SQL, with the ability to build and optimize Foundry transforms.
• Good understanding of Foundry Ontology — Object Types, Link Types, Actions, Interfaces, and Functions — and able to explain the design choices and best practices.
• OSDK and React/TypeScript experience is required, including building OSDK or Workshop applications.
• Should be able to design solutions and explain the patterns and reasoning behind the architecture, not just implement someone else's design.
• Comfortable taking ownership of delivery, production issues, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience working in a Center of Practice, consulting, or forward-deployed environment is a strong plus.
• GCP is highly preferred, although other cloud experience can be considered.
• Manager is open to candidates with 5–10 years of overall experience as long as they have strong, hands-on Foundry development.
• Most importantly, candidates need to speak from their own experience and clearly explain what they built, the challenges they faced, and how they solved them.

We need someone who can take raw data → build/optimize transforms → model the Ontology → build the application → deploy and support the solution, while working directly with stakeholders.
