Job summary

Certus Recruitment is seeking a Mid-Level Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to develop capabilities for the US Army using Palantir Foundry. You will build analytical dashboards, support pipelines, and contribute across design to deployment within two-week sprints.

The role requires 1–3+ years of software engineering experience and proficiency with Python, TypeScript or Java. Collaboration with government stakeholders is key, with opportunities to grow technical depth in Foundry tools.

• Exposure to Foundry pipelines, Workshop/Slate and Ontology.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working within government, defense or classified environments would be valuable.

Forward Deployed Engineer – Palantir Foundry

Salary: $75,000–$165,000 depending on experience

Certus Recruitment is partnering with a technology organization looking for a Mid-Level Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to help develop and deliver capabilities supporting the US Army.

This is a hands‑on engineering role where you'll work with Palantir Foundry, building analytical applications and dashboards, supporting CI/CD pipelines and helping turn complex data into production‑ready capabilities.

Working alongside senior engineers and government stakeholders, you'll operate in two‑week sprint cycles and contribute throughout the development lifecycle – from design and build through testing and deployment.

What you'll be doing:

• Building analytical dashboards using Foundry Workshop/Slate


• Supporting Foundry pipelines and CI/CD configuration


• Developing metric definitions and data transformations aligned with the Foundry Ontology


• Writing and maintaining production‑quality code


• Testing and validating dashboards and underlying data

What we're looking for:

An existing Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Salary: $75,000–$165,000 depending on experience
