Job Overview

Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer for GE Aerospace project. Leverage expertise in Palantir Foundry and AWS cloud technologies to deploy and customize solutions that address complex aerospace challenges. Develop and maintain Foundry pipelines, modular applications, and workflows while collaborating with stakeholders to refine data models and optimize data integration.

Requires proficiency in Foundry application development ecosystem, cloud infrastructure, and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into MVPs, validate solutions quickly, and enhance them into scalable, robust production applications.
• Develop and maintain Foundry pipelines using Pipeline Builder to ingest, transform, and integrate data.
• Build modular applications and workflows leveraging Python, PySpark, and Foundry AIP.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to refine data models and ontology mapping.
• Assist in Foundry workshops to guide stakeholders through platform capabilities.
• Support testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Foundry applications.
• Work with aerospace data to identify patterns, trends, and insights using Palantir Foundry and AWS analytical tools.
• Develop custom applications and workflows within Foundry and AWS to address specific challenges.
• Apply lean methodologies to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Share feedback with Palantir and AWS product teams to enhance tools and workflows.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with Palantir Foundry (Pipeline Builder, AIP, application development).
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
• Strong Python and SQL skills. Front-end development skill such as React is beneficial.
• Experience with Git-based repositories and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with agile methodology.
