Job summary

OpenLoop Health, Inc. is seeking Senior, Staff and Senior Staff engineers to embed with client teams, write production code in client and OpenLoop environments, and deliver reusable platform assets.

You will own end-to-end customer-facing delivery, defend scope with clients and sales, design robust APIs, and ensure security and reliability when handling sensitive health data. This role emphasizes collaboration, documenting lessons learned, contributing SDKs and tooling, and building a scalable

Qualifications

• 5 to 15+ years of software engineering experience with external customers.
• End-to-end ownership of customer-facing technical delivery.
• Strong integration depth: API design, auth, webhooks, idempotency.
• Experience building with AI agents and evaluating LLM systems.
• Security-first approach to handling sensitive data and compliance.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to describe scope decisions and de-scope effectively.
• Evidence of leverage: SDKs, tooling or reference implementations.

Responsibilities

• Write production code in client systems and OpenLoop environments.
• Turn vague asks into defendable scope with phased plans.
• Explain tradeoffs to clients and internal teams.
• Improve deployments with instrumented telemetry.
• Contribute to shared cookbook and client manifests.
• Ensure changes are additive and non-destructive.
• Communicate limits and timelines clearly.
• Share deployment learnings to strengthen the playbook.
