Veeam is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own highly complex customer implementations and drive value from the platform across hybrid environments. You’ll design architectures, lead deployments across cloud and on‑prem, and create reusable patterns that scale with the team.

Qualifications

8–12+ years in technical, customer-facing roles such as forward-deployed engineering or solutions engineering.
Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript and ability to read complex code quickly.
Hands-on with Kubernetes, containers, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Experience deploying across hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments; APIs and data stores knowledge.
Proven ability to build practical technical solutions and reusable playbooks.

Responsibilities

Own technical delivery for the most complex customer accounts from deployment to everyday use.
Lead deployments across hybrid environments including cloud, on‑prem, Kubernetes and containers.
Define architecture for customers with data, security, and business requirements.
Build reusable integrations, agents, and playbooks to increase team velocity.
Mentor other engineers and guide strategic POCs and customer escalations.
