Job summary

Veeam Software is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own strategic customer deployments of the Securiti AI platform within Veeam. You will work directly with customers to deploy, integrate, and scale the platform across complex cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises environments.

This hands‑on role builds integrations, automations, and workflows, troubleshooting issues while adapting the platform to real customer needs and goals.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in technical, customer-facing roles such as forward‑deployed engineering or solutions engineering.
• Fluency in Python, Go or TypeScript and experience shipping practical technical solutions.
• Hands‑on with Kubernetes, containers, Linux and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google).
• Ability to translate customer needs into clear technical plans for data and AI security.
• Experience building integrations, data pipelines, classifiers, automations, or internal tools.
• Comfort working across hybrid environments (cloud, private cloud, on‑premises).

Responsibilities

• Own the technical outcome for customer accounts from deployment to daily use.
• Deploy and configure the platform across hybrid environments including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and on‑premises systems.
• Connect the platform to customer data systems, identity providers, reporting tools, and workflows.
• Configure, tune, and troubleshoot core deployment components such as Kubernetes, containers, Linux, and cloud infra.
• Build and operate integrations using APIs, including SSO/SAML/OIDC, SIEM, ITSM, and data platforms.
• Translate goals into technical plans for data discovery, governance, and AI security outcomes.
• Lead technical sessions with customers; support POCs with Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering.
• Diagnose complex issues across data, deployment, and integration layers with observability tools.
