Job summary

Unit8, a Swiss AI and data analytics consulting leader, is expanding into the US market. We seek a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer who will own delivery strategy and implementation, working directly with customers.

You will design, build, and maintain robust data solutions, collaborating with engineers and ML experts in a cross-functional agile team to solve real business problems for our clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software/data engineering or data science.
• Deep expertise in at least one domain (Data Engineering, Data Science, Cloud Engineering, or GenAI).
• Experience in pre-sales, proposal design, or technical advisory where you influenced executive decisions.
• Experience building solutions with LLMs and understanding GenAI landscape (Evaluation, Training, Decomposition).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data solutions and infrastructure.
• Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot complex data pipelines and processing systems.
• Drive optimization, testing, and tooling for data quality.
• Collaborate with software engineers, ML experts, and stakeholders in a cross-functional agile environment.
