Job summary

Unit8 seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own delivery strategy and implementation, working directly with customers on data and AI projects. You will design, build, and maintain data solutions, pipelines, and infrastructure in a fast-moving, client-facing role.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software/data engineering or data science, with a focus on data engineering, cloud, or GenAI. Travel to client sites is expected, and collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software/data engineering or data science.
• Commercial fluency in pre-sales, proposal design, or technical advisory where you influenced executive decision-making.
• GenAI/LLM experience in building solutions and understanding Evaluation, Training, and Problem Decomposition.
• Nice to have extensive experience in data-related consulting, data strategy and large-scale data solution implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data solutions and infrastructure.
• Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot complex data pipelines and processing systems, focusing on data quality.
• Collaborate with software engineers, ML experts, and stakeholders in a cross-functional agile environment.
• Work in multi-functional agile teams to iterate and deliver on product objectives.
