Job summary

Doka USA in California seeks a Senior Project Engineer to oversee formwork projects from conception to completion. Based in Loma Linda, you will lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, compliant, and high‑quality formwork solutions.

You will review drawings, provide engineering guidance, and manage client communications while upholding safety standards and project objectives. PE is a bonus; Bachelor's in Civil Eng required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• PE certification is a bonus.
• Experience in project engineering and management within construction, especially formwork.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering, construction methods, and codes.
• Proficiency with project management & CAD tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in formwork design or scaffolding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of formwork projects including scheduling, resources, and budget.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to define requirements and risks.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets and monitor milestones.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for materials and resources.
• Provide engineering guidance and ensure compliance with design specs and regulations.
• Perform site inspections and quality audits of workmanship and safety practices.
• Manage client communications and respond to inquiries and changes.
• Review drawings and calculations for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
