Job summary

Doka USA, based in Kenilworth, NJ, is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the planning, design, and execution of formwork and shoring on construction projects. You will work with clients, project managers, and field teams to translate requirements into detailed plans and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

This on-site role reports to the Engineering Manager and requires a civil/structural background, strong communication, and the ability to manage complex schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Experience in formwork and shoring design for construction.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and structural analysis tools.
• PE license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project requirements.
• Develop detailed formwork and shoring plans using CAD software.
• Provide technical guidance on formwork solutions.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals.
• Select appropriate formwork materials based on site needs and budget.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Monitor progress and address risks to keep projects on track.
