Job summary

Amentum seeks a skilled forklift technician to maintain a large fleet of Raymond forklifts and related equipment. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical systems.

You will work under SCA guidelines, coordinate with government focal points, and perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on interior and exterior fleets. On-site position with diverse shifts.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph.
• Ten years of forklift maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Certifications in safe operation of forklifts and Raymond brand forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair fleet components and electrical systems.
• Prepare cost/time estimates for corrective repairs.
• Interact with government points of contact and customers on status.
• Road test vehicles after maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
