Job summary

Raymond Central in Memphis, TN is seeking a Field Service Technician to support forklift and equipment maintenance on site for a major customer. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, repair, and document service activities with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders or work on elevated platforms up to 30 ft.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and support material handling equipment at the customer location.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and related equipment per guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to procedures and cost guidelines.
• Accurately complete paperwork and time records as directed.
• Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used.
• Drive and work safely following company and customer policies.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
