The Raymond Corporation is seeking a Forklift Mechanical Technician for on-site work at our East Syracuse, NY facility. You will repair and maintain Raymond electric forklifts and prepare units for resale after customer leases end.

Qualifications

• General mechanical aptitude and knowledge in hydraulics/electrical systems.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, manuals and safety documentation.
• Basic computer skills to document repair activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide repair and maintenance to Raymond electric forklifts.
• Diagnose and replace damaged components on Raymond forklifts.
• Maintain accurate service and labor records for resale pricing.
• Submit work orders to supervisor for approval and cost control.
• Follow safe, standard work practices to ensure a safe work environment.
