Job summary

Velocity Maintenance Services is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on lift trucks and related equipment. You will manage the maintenance shop, ensure proper inventory levels, and maintain a safe environment in line with OSHA standards.

The role involves routine preventive maintenance on electric forklifts, racking, dock & doors, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers, and golf carts with emphasis on accuracy of service records and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in forklift/industrial equipment maintenance.
• High School or GED required.
• Strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Industrial battery experience.
• Dock & door experience; welding preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on lift trucks.
• Manage maintenance shop, inventory and safety in compliance with OSHA.
• Complete service records and maintenance on various equipment.
• PM scheduling and warranty coordination.
• Repair options assessment and root-cause analysis.
