Job summary
ProLift Toyota Material Handling Service Team is seeking an experienced Shop Service Technician to provide maintenance and repair services to forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and document service activities with a focus on uptime and reliability.
The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, the ability to read schematics, and the use of diagnostic software.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience with diagnostic software is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and electronic systems.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software.
- Complete accurate service documentation.
- Recommend repairs that improve customer uptime and equipment reliability.
- Maintain bay, tools, and inventory.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally.
