Job summary

ProLift Toyota Material Handling is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to provide world-class maintenance and repair services on forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations. The role emphasizes problem solving, excellent customer service, and independent work.

Key tasks include diagnosing and repairing electric and internal combustion forklifts, troubleshooting hydraulic/electrical systems, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education preferred.
• 1+ years of experience repairing industrial equipment, heavy equipment, automotive diesel, agricultural, or material handling equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and electronic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
• Recommend repairs that improve customer uptime and equipment reliability.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally.
